3 BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT Retroactive & Current Positional Truth Jesus Christ SD PD Positive volition at Gospel hearing. Burial CPT: Our SOUL is immersed into Christ & identified with His resurrection, ascension, & session. RPT: Our BODY with its sinful nature (SN) is immersed into Christ & identified with His Spiritual Death, Physical Death, & Burial. 1.At salvation, Retroactive Positional Truth (RPT) identifies the sinful nature (SN) with the Lord’s Spiritual Death (SD) on the cross where its power was broken and its rulership authority terminated. 2.RPT also identifies the sinful nature with the Lord’s Physical Death (PD) and Burial. 3.RPT constitutes the death of the first husband, the sinful nature, which remains with the body at the physical death of the believer. 4.At salvation, Current Positional Truth (CPT) identifies the soul with the resurrection, ascension, & session of our Lord. 5.CPT constitutes the marriage of the believer to a new Husband, Jesus Christ. The soul remains with Christ for all eternity. 6.The believer’s sinful nature is positionally buried. The soul is positionally resurrected. The first husband no longer has rulership authority over the soul. The new Husband does. 7.See Romans 6:1-14. Justice imputes humanity’s personal sins to Christ & judges them in Him.
