1 Building Expansion Project Update

2 4.9 ECCC 4.9 Growth Strategy We will continue to grow as a “one site multi congregations & services” church in next 5 years We will continue to equip and develop our congregations to further expand God’s kingdom in Edmonton and beyond. We will maximize use of our existing facilities as a platform to connect lives with believers and un- churched people

3 Software Further strengthen the 4 in 1 Pastoral Team in order to enhance our 4 in 1 Lay Leaders Team. Continue to deepen our relationship with God and widen our love to surrounding people through prayer meetings, cell groups, and Christian equipping programs. Transforms our building facilities becoming a Welcome Center to believers and un-churched people.

4 Hardware Expand the footprint of our building and optimize use of our property. Renovate and upgrade the aging facility. Optimize the building floor plan to be more functional.

5 Proposal (hardware) Tear down the existing pastoral building and replace it with a larger two storey building. Renovate Founders Hall, general office and A-lobby.

One large 5,000 sq ft, functional and flexible multi-purpose greeting hall on ground level Seated 200 people Could be easily converted into 4 to 5 smaller fellowship rooms. 4 multi purpose meeting/small group rooms on 2 nd level One (1) 16 seated One (1) 10 seated Two (2) 8 seated A more welcoming church entrance with a sheltered drop off area A much improved foot traffic flow at the south end of our church Avoid the infrastructure upgrading/maintenance expenses on existing Pastoral Building

Sanctuary entrance doors upgrade Washrooms at the north-south corridor upgrade Appearance improvement on the south wing (A-entrance, A-lobby, Founders’ Hall…) Electrical distribution system upgrade Internet accessibility upgrade Water supply network and plumbing upgrade

17 What’s Next? Proceed to the design development stage with engineering input and obtain an accurate cost estimate. Organize a Financing Committee Next update to Congregations at the weekend of January 24 & 25 Striving to hold a congregational referendum for approval of this project before the end of February 2015
