16 Project Details  Project length – From Russell Springs to US-40, approximately 11 miles.  Project scope – Pavement replacement with new paved shoulders and edge-line rumble strips, using practical improvement methods. – saving $6 million dollars.  Remove 12” of pavement and sub-grade, fly ash treating 4 inches of soil and millings, then place 6 inches of new asphalt.  Result is a 26 foot roadway.  Road will be closed for 105 days.

20 Project Details  Project length – From Hoxie to the US-83 Jct. -19 miles  Project scope – Pavement replacement with new paved shoulders and edge-line rumble strips, using practical improvement methods. – saving $21 million dollars.  Remove 19.5” of pavement and sub-grade, fly ash treating 4 inches of soil and millings, then place 8.5 inches of new asphalt.  Result is a 28 foot roadway.
