Purpose To enable Christians in 21 st century Wales to communicate with credibility, confidence and competence the message of the Bible in the local church and in every work place, including in politics, the media, the arts, the health service, education and business

CICC Cafe: Biblefresh Insights Focusing Glory to God – Speaking with Angels’ Tongues! 1.Lots of ways to study the Bible 2.This series is about Biblefresh Insights 3.The usual way we see the text – as prose (read Item 2) 4.To discover the basic insight, focus on v14 (Item 3) 5.Need to study the text as given (see Item 4) 6.Translations versus the literal translation 7.Arrange the text in the order of the literal translation 8.How many sub-sentences? Arrange in parallel
Parallelism – Key insight in Hebrew-Biblical literature – Usually in pairs, sometimes 3s or 4s (two pairs) – In sentences, in paragraphs, in units, in books!
