13 How to teach kids about money Model Pay yourself first –Saving $10 a week gives you $520 a year. It is easy to save loose change by: –Bringing your lunch to school –Taking the bus, riding your bike or car pooling –Cutting down on double lattes or number of movies you go to –Borrowing books from the library
