INTRODUCTION Our Product Focus for the next two weeks is Virtualization. More than 90% of mid- and large size businesses have implemented virtualization at some level and the overall market for server virtualization hardware and software has already well surpassed $20 billion, according to various research reports. Virtualization is not an IT trend. It is also not new, but it is new in many organizations as companies of all sizes invest in virtualization technologies to reap it’s many benefits: energy savings, server and desktop provisioning, reduction in physical servers, increased uptime and availability, better disaster recovery, and the list goes on. The goal of this Product Focus is to make our customers aware that we have the training solution for whichever virtualization platform they choose.
Social Media Look for a new post each morning for the next two weeks to push our Virtualization focus. Target Audience Our target audience for Virtualization training will be experienced members of the IT department who have administrative or supportive roles. PRODUCT FOCUS NOTES
Apart from providing daily social updates, numerous blog articles to link to, and an external email to send to clients, we have also provided you with a variety of supporting documents to use throughout the two week product focus and beyond. We will be looking at Virtualization solutions from VMware, Microsoft, and Citrix for this Product Focus. The supporting documents include such things as data sheets, white papers, class sheets, case studies, and an external email template.
