Numbers 13:1-20 Twelve Spies sent out at Israel’s request (Deuteronomy 1:22, 23) 22 “And every one of you came near to me and said, ‘Let us send men before us, and let them search out the land for us, and bring back word to us of the way by which we should go up, and of the cities into which we shall come.’ 23 “The plan pleased me well; so I took twelve of your men, one man from each tribe.
Numbers 14:33 And your sons shall be shepherds in the wilderness forty years, and bear the brunt of your infidelity, until your carcasses are consumed in the wilderness.
Numbers 14:30-35 Only Joshua & Caleb and those under age 20 to enter the land
Numbers 14:36-38 Ten spies who doubted God perish in a plague
Numbers 14:39-44 People go against God’s will. Attempt to enter the land
