3 Transitions A transition is a special effect used to introduce a slide during a slide show. For example, you can fade from black or dissolve from one slide to another. You can choose the transitions you want and you can vary the speed of each.

5 Using Rehearse Timings
This is a way to set the amount of time that each slide shows as you watch the presentation. Click Slide ShowRehearse Timings The PowerPoint will automatically launch and have a timer showing in the top left corner Click after the appropriate amount of time for each slide At the end you will be prompted to keep these settings. If you are happy with the timing, choose Yes. The timings will be added to each slide and the slides will be set to advance automatically (without a mouse click)

6 Making a PowerPoint Loop
A PowerPoint can be set to loop where it gets to the last slide and automatically goes back to the first slide. It will continue looping until the escape key is pressed. Click Slide ShowSet Up Show Check the box Loop continuously until ‘esc’

7 Adding Custom Animations
You can create custom animations in PowerPoint to illustrate concepts or draw attention to a point. You may apply custom animations to text, shapes, clip art, charts, or photographs.  You may even combine elements to create a complex and effective animation.

8 To Add Custom Animation:
Insert an object on the slide With the object selected, go up to Slide ShowCustom  Animation Choose an animation effect for the object and click OK When you run the slide show, the object will appear on the slide when you click your mouse
