Acknowledge (adj) To recognize as being valid Chinese: 公认的, 被普遍认可的 Example: She was given a present in acknowledgement of her achievement.
Political (adj) Of, relating to, or dealing with the structure or affairs of government Chinese: 政治的, 行政上的 Example: His father is a political prisoner.
Pollution (noun) The act or process of polluting or the state of being polluted Chinese: 污染, 玷污 Example: We should pay more attention to the noise pollution.
Secret (adj) Kept hidden from knowledge or view Chinese: 秘密的, 隐秘的, 幽静的、 Example: We held a meeting in secret.
Save (verb) To rescue from harm, danger, or loss Chinese: 挽救, 节省, 救球 Example: You should save some of your money.
Terrible (adj) Causing great fear or alarm; dreadful Chinese: 很糟的, 可怕的, 骇人的 Example: The weather is very terrible.
