Nebula Systems was formed in 1996 by a team of dedicated individuals who specialised in providing business stock control, and retail solutions. Interested in business development, the team were key in founding a major UK retail company, becoming their in-house I.T. department dedicated to support and writing their principal stock control software. After re-establishing themselves as a software company, Nebula Systems grew to provide a number of other products and services. As Nebula Systems grows, so does it’s list of clients including such esteemed customers as the National Health Service; having recently completed a bespoke program dealing with Nursing requirements. Nebula Systems now provide time saving applications, ranging from small database solutions through to major business programs. Nebula Systems custom made EPOS and stock control program; ‘Eskimo’ is constantly being developed and improved. This program will allow the retailer to keep his stock in order and counted for, while the till operator can experience a relaxed, user friendly till system that is unique to the Eskimo. But, why Eskimo? All software developed by Nebula Systems (UK) Ltd is subject to a name already given to a Nebula. The Eskimo Nebula (NGC 2392) is so called because, when viewed through ground-based telescopes, it resembles the face of an Eskimo surrounded by a fur parka.
