2 New Zealand’s first named retail degree programme Developed in partnership with the retail industry Flexible: a 3-year (full-time) degree also available part- time, at the Albany campus and via distance learning Students specialise in retail operations, buying, merchandising, marketing, team leadership & strategy Includes internships in each ‘year’ of the degree for practical on-the-job learning experiences and industry connections Graduates combine generic business skills with retail- specific expertise, ready for managerial and leadership roles in stores, online environments and support functions

6 300-Level (15-30 credits) – Retail Strategy & Business Planning (15) – Retail Experience Internship (30) – Managing Services (15) Core Papers

7 Minors –Business Information Systems and Electronic Commerce –Design (based at the Wellington campus) –Management and Entrepreneurship –Marketing –Logistics and Supply Chain Management (block-taught at Albany) –Students may complete minors from any undergraduate degree within the University for which recognised minors are specified Minors (specialism)
