Classical examples of this are Medimix, Wipro Consumer, MTR, Mrs Bectors, Haldirams, etc. International brands are looking to enter this large and waking up market – the number of brands interested in India in the Food space alone is testimony to this – Menchies, Operto, Hungry Jacks, to name a few. Several leading Italian leather brands and French Perfume brands are also keenly looking at this market.
