AR Instructional Videos Example If the end user wanted to change the spark plugs of his 1969 Corvette, this AR Instructional Video will allow the user to look at his Corvette engine, and the system would be able to recognize and highlight the components that the end user will need to remove and replace. The user will then receive audio instructions, and the system will recognize the end user’s actions to validate or correct any misinterpretation of the audio and visual instructions.

Augmented Video Game Example Dolphin Adventures – User is sitting in his backyard and looking at his pool through his MindTrip Advanced VR HMD. The system will recognize and geographically plot the real pool locations and physical components, and then add animated dolphins that are swimming in the real pool, along with floating obstacles that the user must avoid as he controls the swim path of his dolphin.

Augmented Dolls & Action Figure Example Disney’s Educate Karaoke – Disney dolls, such as Mickey Mouse, is recognized by the MindTrip HMD and the user will see their Mickey Mouse doll come to life. Mickey will ask the user to join him in a educational karaoke song about numbers, and the Mickey will sing, while showing the numbers that he is singing, and ask the user to join him. The system will also analyze the user’s voice and determine if the user is saying the correct numbers or not, with Mickey responding with these results.

The MindTrip HMD will recognize the pages that the end-user is viewing, and certain frames of the comic book will start to animate on the physical page of the comic book, and the user would be able to “hand click” these frames, and then be immersed in a 3D Virtual World of the frame and the actions happening.

The system, hooked up to a mobile phone, will also record the GPS location of the video frames, and allow for layout drawings to be connected to the video feed. The end user can then view the walkthough as if they were really at the location, looking all around during the video playback or when the video is paused, and can look down and see the layout drawing showing the user where they are at the location.
