2 Spanish Traffic Law approved the 21 st March 2014  Helmet mandatory under 16 years in cities  Stronger fines for alcohol and drugs consumption  No need to stop the vehicle to process the fine  Allow to cut the traffic for environmental reasons  Radar detectors forbidden  International interchange of information (speed, drugs, mobile, belt and helmet)

3 -Open the door to increase speed limitation on certain stretches

4 Change foreseen in the “Circulation General Regulation” Through VMP, the maximum speed limit of 120 km/h existing in motorways and expressways can be increased to a maximum of 130 km/h for passenger cars and motorcycles. This increase of speed limitation will be authorized and managed exclusively by the traffic authority (central or regional). It will be temporary, on stretches with certified security indexes, on well designed and good pavement conditions and under optimal weather conditions.
