2. v1 1 וְיָצָ ֥ א חֹ ֖ טֶר מִגֵּ ֣ זַע יִשָׁ ֑ י וְנֵ ֖ צֶר מִשָּׁרָשָׁ ֥ יו יִפְרֶֽה׃ And then it will go out (YATZA), a rod (CHOTER) from the stump/root-stock (GEZA) of Jesse And a sprout (NETZER) from his root (SHORESH) will bear fruit

4. v2: The Portrait of the Rod- Shoot 2 וְנָחָ ֥ ה עָלָ ֖ יו ר ֣ וּחַ יְהוָ ֑ ה ר ֧ וּחַ חָכְמָ ֣ ה וּבִינָ ֗ ה ר ֤ וּחַ עֵצָה ֙ וּגְבוּרָ ֔ ה ר ֥ וּחַ דַּ ֖ עַת וְיִרְאַ ֥ ת יְהוָֽה׃ And it will rest (NAVACH) upon him, the Spirit (RUACH) of YHWH: RUACH of Wisdom (CHOKMAH) and Discernment (BIYNAH) RUACH of Strategy/Counsel (ETSAH) and Might (GEBURAH) RUACH of Knowledge (DAAT) and the Fear (YIRAT) of YHWH

5. v3: Spirit-given Appetite and Application 3 וַהֲרִיח ֖ וֹ בְּיִרְאַ ֣ ת יְהוָ ֑ ה וְלֹֽא־לְמַרְאֵ ֤ ה עֵינָיו ֙ יִשְׁפּ ֔ וֹט וְלֹֽא־לְמִשְׁמַ ֥ ע אָזְנָ ֖ יו יוֹכִֽיחַ׃ And as a result his delight will be in the fear of the YHWH And not according to the seeing of His eyes will He judge And not according to the hearing of His ears will He rebuke/decide

Is 11:4 4 וְשָׁפַ ֤ ט בְּצֶ ֙ דֶק ֙ דַּלִּ ֔ ים וְהוֹכִ ֥ יחַ בְּמִישׁ ֖ וֹר לְעַנְוֵי־אָ ֑ רֶץ וְהִֽכָּה־אֶ ֙ רֶץ ֙ בְּשֵׁ ֣ בֶט פִּ ֔ יו וּבְר ֥ וּחַ שְׂפָתָ ֖ יו יָמִ ֥ ית רָשָֽׁע׃ But He will judge in Righteousness the poor And He will rebuke/decide in Fairness for the afflicted of the Land. And He will strike the Land with a rod (SHEVET) of His mouth And with the breath (RUACH) of His lips He will slay the wicked.

7. 11:5 5 וְהָ ֥ יָה צֶ ֖ דֶק אֵז ֣ וֹר מָתְנָ ֑ יו וְהָאֱמוּנָ ֖ ה אֵז ֥ וֹר חֲלָצָֽיו׃ And Righteousness will be the belt about His loins; And Faithfulness the belt about His waist.
