08/20/101 Ageometer Ananta Bhadra Lamichhane Nana Assyne Pankaj Jaiswal This presentation will probably involve audience discussion, which will create action items. Use PowerPoint to keep track of these action items during your presentation In Slide Show, click on the right mouse button Select “Meeting Minder” Select the “Action Items” tab Type in action items as they come up Click OK to dismiss this box This will automatically create an Action Item slide at the end of your presentation with your points entered.
08/20/102 Overview Motivation Idea Solution Interfaces Extendibility Conclusion
08/20/103 Motivation Evaluation and Simulation of life time of a construction design and structure have been always a huge burden in terms of time and resources. Solutions are always very complex in terms mathematical computation and modeling. Moreover, Code Camp is an excellent opportunity to be familiar with new tools and programming languages.
08/20/104 Problem Statement In general practice, estimation of lifetime of a structure requires long field observations, calculations and analysis. For Uncracked Location For Cracked Location ECR – Age Relationship
08/20/105 Solution With the help of mobile device, this process can be simplified with integration of input devices: Sensor: To determine crack information Camera: To determine crack information with the help of image processing techniques. Structural Database: To get the history and design detail of the structure. Our Application Just covers the framework showing how it can be utilized, since It is not feasible to consider all variables and varying coefficients for a overnight development. Since our prime motive is to demonstrate the idea, but not to master Structural Aging Process, we generalized the formula to fit just an estimation for this application purpose.

08/20/108 Extendibility Sensor and Camera Integration Bar code or RFID for Material Identification Central Database submission to share results. Inclusion of variety of structures and material coefficients.
08/20/109 Conclusion Code Camp is wonderful experience in terms of learning and sharing knowledge; specially when code is working as the way we wanted. Building solution for the field which we are really not much familiar with, Construction Industry, is challenging while starting. Device Integration would have given much flavor to our application, but we are happy that at least we managed to make the framework while learning for a completely new tool.
