2 Artifact 10 A PowerPoint created during Summer Reading Academy for initial faculty meeting This artifact was developed during my practicum experience at Summer Reading Academy Summer My role in producing this project was as a member of a team effort. I was responsible for discussing several of the slides during the meeting. I received positive feedback. This project addresses the following Florida Educational Leadership Standards: Standard 1: VisionThe principal has a personal vision for the school and the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to develop, articulate and implement a shared vision that is supported by the larger organization and the school community.Standard 2: Instructional LeadershipThe principal promotes a positive learning culture, provides an effective instructional program and applies best practices to student learning, especially in the area of reading and other foundational. Reflection: This presentation created the appropriate vision that was necessary for a group of strangers thrown together for a sixteen day period. Our mission was to remediate students reading ability therefore we needed to create an immediate climate supporting our mission. This was a great way to do that.
