Equivalent fractions are fractions with the same value. Sometimes it is very difficult to find equivalent fractions because the digits used in the fractions are completely different. Can you see how all the digits are different? 1 2 3 is the same as 6

Shapes can be used to show two or more fractions are equivalent.
