Paper Towns by John Green Codi Calloway
“1 I was incontestably in love with her, and 2. she was absolutely unprecedented in every way 3. she never really asked me any questions, so the only way to avoid silence was to keep her talking.” Quentin’s has been in love with his childhood best friend Margo his whole life.
“you know a man got killed here a couple years ago jumping in the big tank.” pg.76 While Quentin and Margo were walking through the park one night they found the boy named Robert Joyner who had killed himself.
“I could feel her on her tiptoes and then her mouth was right up aginst my ear and she said, very clearly “I. will. Miss. Hanging. Out. With. You.” pg 81 He dosent relize what she really means.
“margo left often enough that there weren’t and find margo rallies at school or anything, but we all felt her absence.” Quentin could not find margo any where. She is suppose to be in school with him.
“it became a weekend of reading, of trying to see her in the fragments of the poem shed left for me. I could never get anywhere with the lines, but I kept thinking about them anyway because I didn’t want to disappoint her.” Margo left a poem for Q. but he couldn’t understand the point she was trying to make.
“when she had been gone 6 days I talked to my parents.” Margo is still gone Q is starting to really get worried that’s when it really hits him this is serious.
“I am watching her through plexiglas, and she looks like margo roth spiegelman this girl I have known sence I was two- this girl who was an Idea that I loved.” A while later he this he has found her after more then a 1000 mile drive.
A week before grutuation margo appeared at Qs window.
