Vision Statement The OHSU/PSU Strategic Alliance will develop and expand a portfolio of joint academic, administrative, research, philanthropic and economic development activities that deliver on Oregon and Portland’s shared goal of innovation, scholarship and job creation. Implementation Committee Recommendations 1.Remain opportunistic and continue analysis of existing collaborations to determine areas most likely to produce high yields – in priority areas - with the minimum investment of resources. 2.Review fundraising policies and procedures for both institutions in order to develop an agreement to secure philanthropic funding for priorities identified by the Collaborative. 3.Continue building out the project management website and tracking performance of original recommendations as well as all new initiatives. 4.Form “branding” sub committee to begin planning efforts for a joint web domain that would eventually be the public face of the Alliance. 22
