Overview Status of document What it looks like Key concepts Unresolved questions Questions arising What next
Status of Document Incomplete –Working through known issues and solution constraints attempting to flesh out interdependencies –Info model very rough first cut Focus on making sure we don’t hardcode anything that needs to be configurable –Many choices though..
Unresolved questions How much time, effort, reusability expected for the “project” side of things –Is this similar to a “cruise” in oceanography terms? Where does project metadata get managed How to display project metadata Use Case 2C – is search to be done within WaterInfo or a NRAtlas “entry point” popup?
Unresolved Questions AWDIP requirements?
Unresolved Questions Ratings (good, fair, poor) –Server (part of data product) –Discoverable Portrayal Rule for data type? –Coded into a specific portrayal resource? –User manipulable default classification? –Data classification schemes a separate metadata resource type?
Unresolved Issues WQ monitoring is not standardised in Australia: site identification regimes are different in other states; different agencies use different units of measurement. What are the semantic differences in regimes and how do they impact Use Cases? Where are UOM translations to take place?
