AP US History Without looking at your documents… how could you possibly pre-bucket the answer to the DBQ question?
DBQ From 1775 to 1830, many African Americans gained freedom from slavery, yet during the same period the institution of slavery expanded. Explain why both of these changes too place. Analyze the ways that both free African Americans and enslaved African Americans responded to the challenges confronting them?
Prebucket… How could you organize the response into a 5 paragraph format? If you were to answer the question like a Free Response Question, what would be some of the major areas that you could address… list them.
