6 Au delà de l’éducation primaire : Défis et approches pour étendre les opportunités d’apprentissage en AfriqueAssociation for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) Biennale 2008 on Post-Primary Education  Success in achieving UPE underscores the urgent need for integrated sector-wide policies  No new phase, a continuation of the previoius phase, but a change of ambition for Educational Systems (ES), which demands that the following be taken into account:  Consolidation of a qualitative UPE  Deep reform of PPE  Arbitration that guarantees the financial and social sustainability of these policies within an adapted time-table ADEA’s 2008 Biennale on Education in Africa Beyond primary education : Challenges and approaches for expanding learning opportunities in Africa Major lessons learnt
