Simple Present Somebody cleans the room every day. The room is cleaned every day. Jane cleans the room every day. The room is cleaned by Jane every day.
Simple Past Somebody cleaned the room yesterday. The room was cleaned yesterday. Jane cleaned the room yesterday. The room was cleaned by Jane yesterday.
Simple Present ( is/am/are + p.p.) Thunder is caused by hot air hitting colder air. Biofuel is made from things that com from the Earth. It is called Three Kings Day. I am never invited to parties. Three Kings Day is also celebrated in the United States.
The right hand is used only in the bathroom. Chocolate is given as a gift on holidays. Chopsticks are used to pick up food. Almost all homes are heated using geothermal energy. Students are asked to speak quietly in class.
