13. 3 Days with a Flour Baby…

14. My three days with my flour baby weren´t that bad. I didn’t enjoy but didn’t hate the project although I believe the school should try to earn money for more realistic babies. I hated waking up at 3 a.m. for two days in a row, I waked up one day for the photo but it was dark and my eyes closed with the flash and the clock is not readable so I asked my mom to take the photos the second time so I had to wake her up to, although she was already awake, painting. The next day I felt more exhausted than usual. At home it was easy to handle the baby because it was in my room all the time with me and if I had to go buy stuff I left her with my older sister, so at home it was okay. At school it was weir because older students were looking at me and the baby at saying flattering comments that my baby was the most realistic but it was kind of uncomfortable. I honestly felt stupid with the flour baby; actually a small girl who saw me with the baby asked me if I felt stupid and I was like ´yeeeaaaah, actually yes…´ and it was funny because it was a small girl! At home it also was funny because my sister kept treating it like a real baby and she was just hilarious, if my dad had seen it he would probably do the

15. same. I got anecdotes with the baby like the little girl and my sister, also Mr. Padgett grew surprised when he saw me with the flour baby and just said ´I told you to be careful´ and you know Mr. Padgett it’s impossible not to laugh at him. It wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be, I just wish we had more time to decorate the baby, there were a lot of babies that were poorly dressed. Maybe for next time you should make them all bring a bag of flour for one day, explain the project and have them the next day bring stuff to decorate the baby and from then on start the project. I also think it would be a good idea to start a fundraiser for a day care in health class because of the project. PS: I felt like Amy Juergens!!! Main character of a tv show called ´The Secret Life of the American Teenager´ about a pregnant girl, Amy who needs to take care of her baby once it was born (Emma Grace´s name of Grace came from that show ;) )
