Design Process Lifting the Weight –Tension = Weight*sin(theta) –1kg*9.81m/s 2 = W sin(24) –W = 24.1188N –W = m * a –m = 2.45859kg –Theoretical mass required 2.45859kg –So our weight ends up being??? m = 3.8kg –Why so much? –…friction… and so the problems start.
