Los Angeles Los Angeles is the second most populous city in the United States after New York city and the first populous in California. There are three million eigth hundred thousand people approximately.
Population There are about one hundred forty nationalities speaking two hundred & twenty four different languages in Los Angeles. The racial make up of Los Angeles is 42% White American, 11.2% African American, and 46.5% Hispanic.
Population The population of Los Angeles has increased since 1910. It has multiplied by ten. There were only hundred thousand inhabitants in 1900. Today there are three million eight hundred thousand people living in L.A. In the year 2000., twenty five percent of the population were less than eighteen years old. Forty five percent were aged from ninety to forty five. In Los angeles the average age is thirty three years.
Religion There are numerous Catholic churches throughout Los Angeles. With fifty nine thousand, the Jewish religion is the second in the city. The first is the Catholic religion due to the number of Hispanic residents.
Tourism In Los Angeles the tourists often go to the Important attractions. They are 1) the Walt Disney Concert Hall, 2) Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Universal studios & Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Sport In Los Angeles there are many teams -the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball - the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League - the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association - the Los Angeles D-Fenders, an NBA Development team -the Los Angeles Sparks of the Woman NBA - the USC Trojans and the UCLA Bruins in the NCAA, both of which are Division I teams in the Pacific-12 Conference. - The Los Angeles Galaxy and Club Deportivo Chivas USA of Major League Soccer
