4 Thomas Jefferson Believed in God and the moral teachings of Jesus Christ and the Bible At age 16 he entered College of William and Mary in Williamsburg Studied mathematics, philosophy, and metaphysics First occupation was a lawyer, involved with hundreds of cases between 1768 and 1773
