Management Our goal is to provide consistency in instruction and administration Board of Directors will provide guidance for the development of the school, controls the finances, provides networking within the community and is responsible for fund raising Renate Saggau will continue being owner, and will assist in an active function as curriculum consultant and CEO Jessica Wood will continue being Director of the Pre-School (aka Kinderspiel) and will take over administrative responsibilities Marina Fournier will continue being Assistant-Principal of the Elementary School and will take over administrative responsibilities An Office Manager will be assisting KS and GAES

Vision for the next years to come Tax-Exempt status enables the school to accept donations Added position to Board dedicated to fundraising Engagement of German and American companies or individuals as guarantors Pre-committed donations to finish the garage apartment enlarge classroom space more flexibility for our program (an example is a second kindergarten class etc based on demand) Organic growth - building a long-term sustainable operation Smooth transition to next generation of leadership
Status Quo in Pre-School We will keep the 5-day, 3-day, 2-day programs Starting age for all programs: 3 years (at the first day of the attendance) We provide an elite Student Teacher Ratio of 6:1 The program hours for Kinderspiel : 8:30 am – 1:30 pm Instructional Program Extended Care (1:30 pm – 3:30 pm) is offered exclusively to siblings of the GAES program Elementary School Continuation of program K-3
Program Changes Elementary School (K-3) Extension of the Academic Year (10 months) - more child oriented distribution of vacation - extension of instructional time (175 -> 187 days) - 6 weeks of summer break Starting : annual tuition increase 5% K-3: $ We keep the monthly payment plan free of charge
Program Changes Pre-School Pre-School Program (nicknamed “ Kinderspiel ”) will become part of the GAES NPO (None Profit Operation) Extension of the Academic Year (10 months) Admission age: 3 yrs at first day of attendance Potty-trained students only Supply Fee: $ The tuition increase was kept as low as possible as social responsibility is one of our a core values: 5-day Tuition: $ day Tuition: $ day Tuition: $ : Current plan is to offer a 5 day program solely for educational reason for our unique dual language immersion program

Projected Enrollment Ensures Continuation of the Program Pre-School 21 students are currently enrolled in Pre-School 8 students from Kinderspiel (KS) are old enough to transfer to GAES Kindergarten (= 1. Klasse German system) Continuing increase in demand with a long wait list – 21 students Classroom overview: 5 Day Program: 10 students 3 Day Program: 6 students 2 Day program: 6 students

Distribution of openings Currently enrolled students have priority and receive first program choice. Siblings of current students have second priority (waiting list placement date of siblings determines order in which siblings receive openings) Waiting List receive remaining openings Remaining openings are filled based on placement date and program availability.
Re-Enrollment Procedure: (currently enrolled students) New Contracts Contracts and instructions will be ed to all parents on Monday, January 26 Enrollment contract (no payment!) will be accepted until Thursday, January 29 Invoice will go out on February 6 Enrollment is finalized after payment was received Checks and bank transfers only!
Re-Committment Procedure: (Current Waiting List Families) Waiting List Parents re-commit to the new contract Pre-School: if you are interested in more than one program please mark on the contract your preferred order (1st, 2nd, 3rd choice) Contracts and instructions will be ed on Monday, January 26 Enrollment contract (no payment!) have to be submitted by Thursday, January 29 Enrollment status and invoices will go out via by February 6 Enrollment is finalized after payment was received Checks and bank transfers only!
Open Enrollment Procedure: (for new families) New Contract is online January 26 submit contract (no payment!) remaining openings are distributed on a first come first served basis
