NIMS FY08 Overview Total FY08 objectives = 25 for local jurisdictions 4 new objectives for FY08 Funding must support NIMS Use existing resources to coordinate NIMS training Perform audits or reviews Initiate credentialing process

Resource Management Plan Tier 1 = 120 Nationally defined resources This inventory is being gathered into a database Maintenance will be available online EMAC Tier 2 = any typing done intrastate Typing needs to be taking place between entities with mutual aid agreements Statewide typing definitions will be developed in the coming years *Resource typing is the categorization and description of response resources that are commonly exchanged in disasters through mutual aid agreements.
