“God Loved Us Before We Were Born” Job 10:10 – 12
Warren Wiersbe on Genesis 1:27 “There is a divine conference among the members of the Godhead before man is created, something not seen at any other step of the creation.”
Job 10:12; 31:15 “You gave me life itself, and incredible love. “You watched and guarded every breath I took.” The Message “Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?” New King James Version
“God Loved You Before You Were Born” By Roy Lessin (Day Spring Cards) “God loved you before you were born. His arms were around you before you knew your Mother’s embrace. You are in His thoughts a thousand times over. He loves you from the heights and from the depths Of His being. His love covers you today with grace. You live in the atmosphere of His love. And inhale it with every breath of your spirit.”
1. Before We Were Born, God Knew Each Of Us (13) For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. (14) I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, marvelous are Your works. (15) My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. (16) You eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them” (Psalm 139:13 – 16).
Zechariah 12:1, And Luke 1:39 – 44 “The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.”
Dr. Watson A. Bowes “The beginning of a single human life is, from a biological point of view, a simple and straightforward matter – the beginning is conception.” University Of Colorado School Of Medicine
2. Before We Were Born, God Knew Our Purpose “I know the thoughts (plans) that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him” (Colossians 1:16).
1 Corinthians 6:19 – 20 Question: “Are The Choices We Make Concerning The Life God Created Pleasing To Him?” “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
3. Before We Were Born, God Knew Our Salvation “…the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8). “To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Jesus Christ our Lord” (Ephesians 3:10 – 11).
Galatians 1:15 – 16A “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles…”
John Ortberg, Love Without Reason “If I love someone, it means I have certain hopes and intentions and wishes for them. I’m in their corner. I long for them to flourish and blossom. I want them to realize all their potential. I want them to become filled with virtue and moral beauty.”
“What God Wants For Us Is To Live Eternally With Him” “Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4). “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
“Do I Love God Enough To…” (John 14:15) Become A Christian Hear Him (Romans 10:17) Believe Him (Mark 16:16) Repent Of Sins Against Him (Acts 2:38) Confess Him (Acts 8:37) Be Baptized Into Him (Acts 22:16) Live For Him (Galatians 2:20) Be Restored As An Erring Christian Come Back To Him (Matthew 11:28-30) Repent (Acts 8:22) Pray (James 5:16)
