Therefore, to cover up the wide spread brutal torture and harsh environment in the prisons, the Chinese Communist Party spent large amount of funds to build “model prisons” especially for the prisons detaining large numbers of inmates of conscience. Those prison were decorated beautifully and equipped with TVs and gardens. They use these “model prison” and means of “killing people without seeing blood” to deceive the world and to glorify the violation of human rights by Jiang Zemin’s regime. Model prisons This cover-up is an important step of the Jiang Zemin regime’s systematic persecution of Falun Gong Attempting to avoid condemnation by international human right organizations Threatening and luring foreign countries to keep silent about the persecution and even provide assistance in Internet blockage Inviting foreign journalist to visit prisons under tight surveillance, using pre-arranged persons, questions, and answers to deceive journalists. Although many journalists know these were deceiving traps, faced with “vivid person and real stories,” they report the stories “truthfully.” They actually served as mouthpieces of Jiang Zemin’s regime. Effort to disguise human rights far-exceeds actually improving human right Every year during the human rights conference of the United Nations in Geneva, the Chinese Communist Party would send hundreds to thousands of people to lobby, play massive “human rights games” and privately conduct the deceiving “human right dialogue” with western countries. Using economic benefits to divide other countries so as to avoid condemnation on human rights. The potential market of China Threatening western countries to prevent lawsuits against Jiang Zemin with the role which China could play in the anti-terrorism affairs in the world Falun Gong practitioners in the United States filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin on torture, crimes against humanity, and genocide Jiang Zemin expending any cost to have foreign governments co- operate on preventing Falun Gong practitioners from putting him on trial
