Be on your Guard! Don’t be a stumbling block. Hebrews 12:15 See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;

Be on your Guard! Don’t settle for rebuke.  Using your hurt as blackmail to hold someone hostage.  Feeling superior to others because they hurt you.  Feeling entitled to be a jerk to those who hurt you.  Using your hurt to become judge, jury, & executioner. Increase our faith! Remove that tree. Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

Increase our faith! Doing what ought to be done.  We forgive because God has forgiven us. Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.  How do we do this for others?

Increase our faith! Doing what ought to be done.  They need forgiveness more than they know. You can forgive the unforgivable if you remember that the people who have hurt you so deeply don’t at the deepest level know what they have really done to you. Forgiveness is what they need, and you are the only one who can give it to them. Ray Pritchard, In the Shadow of the Cross  We are just like them

Increase our faith! Doing what ought to be done.  We let go of wanting to hurt them. Romans 12:18-19 if possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.. Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies. Margaret Stunt

Increase our faith! Doing what ought to be done.  We remember their sins no more. Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins. I promise not to bring it up to your face. I promise not to bring it up behind your back. I promise not to dwell on it in my mind.
