4 Our History… It all started in 1980, as a hobby landing private jobs as a weekend car radio installer at the local car radio shop earning extra pocket money. In 1990, - My career started developing and I began focusing on a broad range of skills in automotive, computer and electronic technologies and completed a National Qualification as an Automotive Electrician. In 1999, we opened our business doors and began the journey, with Digifleet and ITS South Africa as the two chosen entities to develop. ITS SA became the vehicle to begin development of various technologies whilst Digifleet became the technical integration and operational platform for the South African market. In 2013, ITS South Africa and Digifleet merged and we redesigned our core vision and future focus on a system of global presence delivered right from the Internet, offering excellent business opportunities from a broad range of Technology Solutions and Service Providers. 2014, we began Group Amalgamation and restructuring with a New Look & Image – EyeZon , EyeZon Global is developed to be grown on a global scale. 11 Wireless sensors placed all over your environment will let you know if any predefined criteria are met. An electronic sensor is a converter that measures a physical quantity and converts it into a digital or analogue string, this is then interpreted according to predefined parameters. A sensor's sensitivity indicates how much the sensor's output changes when the measured quantity changes. ITS SA provides two types of sensors. The first will detect changes in the status quo, and the second will provide exact measurement. The sensor has a level of intelligence and communicates on predefined intervals to notify the ITS SA GSM/GPS updater that it is still present. When any change in the status quo occurs the sensor will immediately send an alert. Sensor data is transmitted to a secure database on the internet. 12 Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology that uses communication through the use of radio waves to exchange data between a reader and an electronic tag attached to an object, for the purpose of identification and tracking. Real-time Locating Systems (RTLS) are used to automatically identify and track the location of objects or people in real time, usually within a building or other contained area. Wireless RTLS tags are attached to objects or worn by people, and in most RTLS, fixed reference points receive wireless signals from tags to determine their precise location. ID signals from a tag is received by a multiplicity of readers in a sensory network, and a position is estimated using one or more locating algorithms, such as trilateration, multilateration, or triangulation. Furthermore, passive RFID tags can be read in real time when used in conjunction with our phased array antennae in warehouses and storerooms. RFID makes it possible to give each product in a store its own unique identifying number and to provide assets, people, work in progress and medical devices, all their own individual unique identifiers – like the license plate on a car, but for every item in the world. 13 HD-SDI is an abbreviation of High Definition Serial Digital Interface, which means a method to convert a digital image signal into a serial signal and transmit it through a coaxial cable without encryption or compression. Because of its origins in broadcast, the definition and picture quality of HD-SDI footage is noticeably higher than a standard analogue signal. The standard was adopted by the SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers). The technology has now been adopted by the CCTV sector. Because it has been designed with the sole purpose of providing Megapixel High Definition Footage over standard coaxial cable. Advantages over Traditional CCTV Systems It is crucial to see the smallest details of what the camera has recorded completely crystal clear, with no compromise on quality. HD-SDI is the first established standard that provides sufficient bandwidth to allow uncompressed transmission of high-definition video signals. HD-SDI enables uncompressed transmission of 1080/60p and 1080/50p signals. Upgrading video systems to HD-SDI is also cost-effective because existing coaxial cables can be used. These Vehicle Telematic Computers are built on Intel's energy efficient Atom™ CPU and are fully compliant with most industry standards for in- vehicle usage including e-Mark certification and EN50155 which is used in train applications and can withstand high levels of shock and vibration. 17 The ITS SA Freight Online system is an internet based processing and tracking system that allows clients to log in and view their waybill and POD information. Scanned POD images can also be downloaded or printed. A client has the ability to search by date range, waybill no, or unique reference number. POD reports & downloads are also available eliminating time consuming queries. The ITS SA Warehouse Online system is fully scalable in design and allows clients to login to the system via the internet to view & manage their warehouses remotely. Clients can only view warehouses relating to their login credentials. 20 The ITS SA ignition interlock products are breath alcohol analysers that keep drivers with DWIs/DUIs from operating vehicles if their breath alcohol level is over a pre-set level. They are small electronic handheld devices – wired into the vehicle ignition system and prevent the vehicle from being started when the driver is over the limit. Our small electronic handheld devices are a cost-effective alternative to jail or license suspension, and allow offenders to keep driving. An alcohol specific fuel cell sensor is utilized with a patented breath sampling system to measure alcohol levels in the driver. 21 Differential fuel-flow meters are intended for volume measurement of supplied fuel and generation of electric impulses in a fuel line of cars, tractors and other mobile vehicles. The flow meter measures as fuel is pumped into the high pressure fuel pump and return lines. The axle load sensor is designed to measure current axle load of the vehicle with leaf-spring suspension and send this data to on-board terminals. The sensor has an input shaft turning which supplies an analogue output signal from the sensor. The multipurpose engine machine hours control sensor is used for team-work with monitoring devices and counting of machine hours on any type of engines. The firing and high temperature sensor consists of a housing control unit and a thermocouple. The thermocouple consists of a flexible copper tube 50 cm in length and a thermal element The temperature sensor is used in temperature control systems with 1-Wire input.
