9 Visual Communication Design, Universitas Ciputra, 2013 Technical Objectives (Short Movie) 1.Create an academy standards short movie with the look and feel of a B/W contemporary look 2.Movie is set to 15 minutes in duration excluding the credit title 3.Project will need a teaser (15-30 seconds), a trailer (30-45 seconds) and extended trailer (1- 3 minutes)

31 Visual Communication Design, Universitas Ciputra, 2013 Pre-Production 3 1.Pre-production will create clear concepts and execution plans for the project 2.Pre-Viz (video) and partiture (book) will be created and used as a guidelines for creating shooting scripts (video) and dummy (book)

32 Visual Communication Design, Universitas Ciputra, 2013 Production 4 1.Production stages will involved teams for respected section to create footage and material for the project 2.There are possibilities to include Pak Ci (whenever possible) to take part in the project 3.Production takes place mostly in Surabaya and might have to fly to Jakarta to take some footage depending on the storyboards created in pre-production

33 Visual Communication Design, Universitas Ciputra, 2013 Post Production 5 1.Video team will finish the project on this stage and produce an academy standard movie*, plus teaser and trailers 2.Book team will finish the project on this stage and product ready to print final artwork 3.Book team will print (via digital print) some copies* of the book for preparation for the early screening stage
