3. The ability to serve others is a blessing – (1) Serve with integrity – (2) You can’t help everyone – (3,4) The work is God’s & He will reward accordingly – (5,6)

4. The value of God’s message “treasure in earthen vessels” – (7) The cost of preaching God’s message – “Knocked down, but not out!”(8-11) The purpose of God’s message – “Present a living Savior that others may live.” (10-12)

5. Gives us the strength to overcome our hardships – (13; 1 John 5:4)  Faith comes by hearing – (13; Rom. 10:17)  Faith is TRUSTING - (13,14)  Faith is GRATEFUL – (15)  Faith is REJUVENATING – (16)

6. Comparing now with later – (17) Focusing on what will be, and not on what is physically seen – (18) We have the assurance of the resurrection – (5:1-5) Therefore we live by faith – not sight – (5:6-8)
