3  Conjugating verbs all has to do with dropping the –ar at the end of the verb and replacing it with the right ending.  Choosing which ending to use all has to do the subject pronoun in the sentence.  As long as you can identify the subject pronoun, you can use the following chart to pick the ending that agrees with the subject pronoun. Yo - oT ú - as Usted, él, ella -a- Nosotros - amosVosotros - áis Ustedes, ellos, ellas -an- TRANSLATIONS IYou (informal) He, she, You (formal) WeYou all (informal) You all (formal), They

4  The following slides will be examples of conjugating verbs to agree with the subject pronouns. Answer the questions in Spanish.

5 Does he draw well? S í, dibuja bien.

6 Do Marisol and Edwardo ride their bicycles fast? S í, montan en bicicleta rápido.

7 Do you use the computer? S í, usas la computadora.

8 Do Amy and David practice the guitar? No, no tocan la guitarra.
