Roland Dahl was born in 13 September 1916. His family was from Norway and they lived in Wales. Roland was finished high school and he has started work in Shell Oil Company. During The Second World War he served in Royal Air Force (RAF). He was wounded and he finished worked in the army. From 1942 Dahl lived in Washington. He was a British spy. Than he started writing. He published 2 autobiography, two stories and a few books for children. Charlie and chocolate factory is most famous. Other most popular books include The Twits, James and the Giant Peach, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Matilda, The Witches, and The BFG. He wrote screenplays too. Dahl married American actress Patricia Neal on 2 July 1953 in New York City. They lived together 30 years and they had five children. Ronald Dahl died in November 1990 at the age of 74
Charlie Bucket lives with his parents and four grandparents in the town that is home to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. The family was poor and they couldn’t buy chocolate too often. The owner of factory started the competition to find golden tickets in chocolate. Charlie is the one of the five finders tickets. They started the adventure in factory. In the end of this expedition Mr. Wonka gave his factory Charlie, because Charlie was only one child who didn’t want any sweets from factory
Matylda was a little girl. When she was a child she was unhappy. Her parents was not normal. In schools she had bad director. The teacher was her only one friend.
