Air Finned Heat Exchanger for Mechanical Seal EXPERT ENGINEERING – MUMBAI, INDIA Air Finned Heat Exchanger for Mechanical Seals - having immense potential of money saving and enhancing MTBF of rotating assets of any industry plus Mechanical seal manufacturing and reconditioning plus testing in API Seal tester for ensuring long trouble free life. Kindly pass on the PPT file to your technical department to rip the benefit of our tech innovation.
Introduction Things to be discussed: Objective Standard Water Coolers Standard Air Fin Coolers What is Enhanced Air Finned Cooler Basic Concept Shandilya Enhanced Air Fin Cooler Advantage over Standard Water Cooled Heat Exchanger Applications
Objective To describe some of our activities in the area of Air Finned Cooler technology. To demonstrate that water cooling can be replaced by air cooling Water Air

Standard Air Fin Cooler
Enhanced Air Fin Cooler
Basic Concept Condenser Fins Working Fluid Vapour Evaporator
Working of Enhanced Air Finned Cooler. It is filled with a liquid (the thermal transfer medium) appropriate to temperature of application. The working fluid evaporates extracting heat from the process liquid Vapour moves towards fin side of the tube wherein it dissipates heat to the ambient and condenses. The condensed liquid comes back to the bottom portion. The cycle repeats,
What is Enhanced Air Finned Cooler ? Sealed Chamber wherein a working Substance Evaporates and Condenses. Passive device (No Moving Parts). Extremely high, effective thermal conductivity (as much as 1,000 times that of Cu).
TEMPERATURE UP TO 200degC Model: SEAFC30
TEMPERATURE degC Model: SEAFC60
TEMPERATURE ABOVE 280degC SEAFC90
Advantage over Standard Water Cooled Hear Exchanger Standard Heat Exchanger Enhanced Air Finned Cooler Cost of water is to be born all the time when the heat exchanger is on; the cost of water at the rate of Rs. 5/- per cubic meter is Rs /- (approx) per year. No water is required, so its saves the cost of Pumps, Valves and Water for circulation for cooling. Dissolved salts in water get deposited on the outer surface of the tube and reduces thermal conductivity, due to this out-let temperature increases and may cause seal failure also water consumption increases after scale formation. Cooler efficiency remains almost constant. Possibility of seal failure due to temperature rise can be avoided. In coil type Heat Exchanger if the coil is not properly vented circulation stops causing mechanical seal failure. Self-venting, so no circulation required. Scaling/Fouling may create the un-schedule shut down of the pump that causes the production loss. The loss of one Un- Scheduled shut down may be between Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 1,00,000. No un-scheduled maintenance due to cooler.
