Class Summaries group students by risk level, letting teachers quickly see which require additional support and monitoring. Student Summaries display a single student’s performance on benchmark skills across grades and time periods. These reports also provide item-level details to analyze student responses more closely, identify patterns and behaviors, and target instruction. mCLASS® Home Connect™ Introduction Studies show that children whose families engage in at-school and at-home activities make significantly greater gains in language scores as measured on subtests of vocabulary, story comprehension, and sequencing in story- telling, than those children without parent involvement (Jordan, Snow, Porche, 2000). Indiana DOE mCLASS Webcasts mCLASS: Support Resources: You Are Not Alone! (5/14/2010 at 10am & 2pm 15 min.) Learn about the different resources available to all mCLASS users such as: Customer Care, mCLASS solutions data base, webcasts, www.freereading.net, and the Wireless Generation and IDOE support team. -Recorded Webcasts on IDOE Website- mCLASS: Direct Tour mCLASS®:Direct™ and discuss using the mCLASS:Direct Web site to gather and analyze important DIBELS data related to student performance, school improvement, and teacher effectiveness. Reporting options, time-saving tips, and report exporting options will also be discussed. mCLASS: Math Progress Monitoring and Diagnostic Interview (DI): Use the DI effectively to determine student strengths and weaknesses. Participants will discuss using the DI effectively to provide guidance on adjusting instructional plans to meet individual student needs.
