ICDL ICDL stands for “International Computer Driving Licence”. ICDL is an internationally recognised qualification that enables people to certify their competence in essential computer skills & knowledge. It certifies to a set standard the IT skills people already have or the skills they attain through training. Modules can be attained in all parts of the world
International Computer Driving Licence Is NOT a taught course.
International Computer Driving Licence The ECDL/ICDL consists of seven modules: 1. Basic Concepts of IT 2. Using a Computer and Managing Files 3. Word Processing 4. Spreadsheets 5. Databases 6. Presentation 7. Information and Communication All must be passed before the award of an ICDL Certificate
How do I get the ICDL? Attain the skills and competences Check that you have them against the syllabus Attempt some Mock Tests Remediate any identified shortfall Get an ICDL Skills card and unique registration number Sit an online test just like the mock test Do all 7 tests in 3 years
