CAP Workbook v6b Demo Strategy effectiveness measures in the CAP Excel tool… … and more! Warren Lockwood - Conservation Data & Info Systems
Why a new version of the CAP workbook ? Version 6b: ConPro changed its data model Needed to “harmonize” Miradi ConPro CAP Workbook –Each “thing being measured” has its own indicator. –Monitoring “methods” are shared across indicators. –Most obvious change: “priority” and “progress” added to Viability table. –Version 6b data pack aligns with the new ConPro. (v6a doesn’t) Versions 6a and 6b: Incorporate ‘strategy effectiveness measures’ –tracking indicator measurements over time. –connecting measurements to objectives. Add user-requested features … new summary tables … flexible table formats CAP Workbook v6b
