Compiled and Illustrated from The Scriptures & The Spirit of Prophecy July 2014 Presents Who are The Three Living Persons of The Heavenly Trio? Part 2

From the first few verses of the gospel of John, and the book of Hebrews, we saw from part one of this study that GOD has revealed to us The Light of Truth of HIS Son, Who is also called God, by His GOD. We saw that The Sovereign of the universe was not alone in HIS work of beneficence. HE had an Associate--a Co-worker, Who could appreciate HIS purposes, and could share HIS joy in giving happiness to created beings, which HE created by Him--Who is HIS Co-worker, or Helper. We saw that all the angels were commanded to worship Him. But there was one angel, who declare himself to be a God, and desired to be worshipped, and he spread his darkness upon the the face of the deep. And because that darkness was spreading, GOD said by HIS Word that HE will bring strangers upon him, and they will draw their swords against the beauty of his wisdom, and they will defile his brightness. They will bring him down to the pit, and he shall die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. He will die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers. And because this prince of darkness spread his words of darkness upon the face of the deep, GOD said by The Spirit of HIS Word, “Let there be Light” to reveal The Truth to all, who will hear and believe, rather than believe the lie of the enemy, who is not a member of The Heavenly Trio. GOD created man by HIS Son to help reveal The Truth of HIS Glory. For HE said to HIS Co-worker…

“…Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:26, 27).

Female If GOD and HIS Son has dominion over all things, and HE by HIS Son made man--male and female, to reflect HIS Image, then GOD by HIS Son made them two, who became one, to reproduce after their kind. And The Word of GOD made them one with each other, and one with GOD, to become like Him. Male GOD HIS Son Man was made in GOD’S Image to have… Dominion over The creatures of the sea, The creatures of the sea, The creatures that fly in the air, The creatures that fly in the air, Every beast, and creeping thing upon the earth, Every beast, and creeping thing upon the earth, And over all the earth. Notice that GOD did not make man, as three human beings, who must be joined together as one, to reproduce after their kind. No. If this were the case, then all the happy marriages that are sanctified by GOD are missing a third companion in their union. And there would be two males to every female, to reproduce their kind of error. But this is not GOD’S Image, for it is written… make man in Our Image GOD said to HIS Son “Let Us” GOD said to HIS Son “Let Us”

“God Himself gave Adam a companion. He provided "an help meet for him"--a helper corresponding to him--one who was fitted to be his companion, and who could be one with him in love and sympathy. Eve was created from a rib taken from the side of Adam, signifying that she was not to control him as the head, nor to be trampled under his feet as an inferior, but to stand by his side as an equal, to be loved and protected by him. A part of man, bone of his bone, and flesh of his flesh, she was his second self; showing the close union and the affectionate attachment that should exist in this relation. "For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it." Eph. 5:29....” (The Faith I Live by, Page 251)

Female Notice that if man was made, to reflect GOD’S Image, and The Spirit of GOD’S Son must be in us, to be reproduce after HIS Kind, then by having another third spirit, to be joined in that union, then one of these spirits is the enemy of GOD. Male GOD HIS Son Man was made in GOD’S Image to be… Companions with The Son of GOD. To be helpers corresponding to Him. To be helpers corresponding to Him. To be one with Him in Love and Sympathy. To stand by His side as an equal. To be loved and protected by Him. Man was made to have dominion over the kingdom of the earth. And to keep that dominion over, even the forbidden tree and his fruit, which is of the spirit of the enemy, GOD commanded the man not to partake of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. For it is written… GOD Made all things for HIS Son GOD Made all things for HIS Son To be His second self, which shows the close union and the affectionate attachment that should exist in our relation with Him.

“…And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:16, 17).

By causing man to turn against his own flesh and blood and his Source of Light and Life in GOD by HIS Word, Satan led man to choose darkness and death by believing that GOD and HIS Son were keeping The Truth from them. The enemy deceived the woman, who led man to eat also of the lie, which is poison to the soul, to cause man to turn against GOD and HIS Word, which many are doing, even in this day, by turning against HIS Law of The Gift of Life. The LORD by HIS Word led His servant Ellen G. White, to write and say… GOD knew what the enemy would do GOD knew what the enemy would do HIS Son By accepting as food for thought the fruit of the enemy, and seeing that the tree was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, the woman took of his fruit and did eat, and she gave also to her husband to eat. And they became separated from The Source of Light and Life and from each other. Female Male

“It is the nature of sin to spread and increase. Since the first sin of Adam, from generation to generation it has spread like a contagious disease. While the world was yet in its infancy, sin became fearful in its proportions. Hatred of God's law, and, as the sure result, hatred of all goodness, became universal. God, who had created man and given him with an unsparing hand the bounties of His providence, was dishonored by the beings He had created, slighted and despised by the recipients of His gifts. But though sinful man forgot His benevolent Benefactor, God did not forget the creature He had formed. Not only did He send "rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons," filling man's heart with "food and gladness," but He sent him also messages of warning and entreaty. Man's wickedness was fully set before him, and the result of transgressing the divine law.

“In the days of Noah, the wickedness of the world became so great that God could no longer bear with it.... But He pitied the race, and in His love provided a refuge for all who would accept it. He gave the message to Noah to be given to the people: "My spirit shall not always strive with man."... The Spirit of God continued to strive with rebellious man until the time specified had nearly expired, when Noah and his family entered the ark, and the hand of God closed its door. Mercy had stepped from the golden throne, no longer to intercede for the guilty sinner. All the men of that generation were not in the fullest sense of the term heathen idolaters. Many had a knowledge of God and His law; but they not only rejected the message of the faithful preacher of righteousness themselves, but used all their influence to prevent others from being obedient to God.

“To everyone comes a day of trial and trust. That generation had their day of opportunity and privilege while Noah was sounding the note of warning of the coming destruction; but they yielded their minds to the control of Satan rather than of God, and he deceived them, as he did our first parents. He set before them darkness and falsehood in the place of light and truth; and they accepted his sophistry and lies, because they were acceptable to them, and in harmony with their corrupt lives, while truth that would have saved them was rejected as a delusion. Numbers were not on the side of right.--Signs of the Times, April 1, 1886.” (Ellen G. White "Reflecting Christ", Page 321) “To everyone comes a day of trial and trust. 12 The Son of GOD is The Light and Life to all things created by Him. But because of sin, man was in darkness and death, separated from Light and Life, because the adversary led man to distrust and reject GOD’S Word of Life. The Son of GOD is The Light and Life to all things created by Him. But because of sin, man was in darkness and death, separated from Light and Life, because the adversary led man to distrust and reject GOD’S Word of Life. Speaking of The Son of GOD, Who is The Light and Life of GOD to all things, Ellen G. White wrote of Him and said… GOD The Son of GOD The Christ By The Word of Light and Life… The word “consist” means: All things consist. To place together, to set in the same place, to bring or band together, to stand with (or near) to set one with another. It is He--The Word of Life, Who makes all things to be one together with GOD, WHO also is LIGHT and LIFE.

“All through the pages of sacred history, where the dealings of God with His chosen people are recorded, there are burning traces of the great I AM.... In all these revelations of the divine presence, the glory of God was manifested through Christ. Not alone at the Saviour's advent, but through all the ages after the fall and the promise of redemption, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself." Christ was the foundation and center of the sacrificial system in both the patriarchal and the Jewish age. Since the sin of our first parents, there has been no direct communication between God and man.

“The Father has given the world into the hands of Christ, that through His mediatorial work He may redeem man, and vindicate the authority and holiness of the law of God. All the communion between heaven and the fallen race has been through Christ. It was the Son of God that gave to our first parents the promise of redemption. It was He who revealed Himself to the patriarchs. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses understood the gospel. They looked for salvation through man's Substitute and Surety.... (That I Might Know Him, Page 102)

Notice that all through the pages of sacred history, where the dealings of GOD are recorded with HIS people, HE was manifesting and reconciling man to HIMSELF through Christ, Who is The Expressed Image of HIS PERSON. And speaking to Moses, GOD spoke by HIS Son--The Word and Spirit of HIS PRESENCE and said… GOD The Son of GOD The Christ HE spoke to man by HIS Word, Who came unto them. Is The Word, Who speaks GOD’S Words Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses

“Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name [is] in him. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off” (Exodus 23:20-23).

“Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil” (Exodus 23:24-26).

In receiving The Manna from heaven, the mixed multitude among the children of Israel began to cry unto Moses for flesh to eat. Moses, who was one with The LORD by the receiving of The Spirit of HIS Word, he reflected GOD’S glory, and was displeased with them, because they were rejecting GOD’S provisions. And because the mixed multitude, which were among the children of Israel cried unto Moses for flesh meat to eat, Moses cried for help from The LORD, because of the burden of the people were resting upon him. And it is written… And because the mixed multitude, which were among the children of Israel cried unto Moses for flesh meat to eat, Moses cried for help from The LORD, because of the burden of the people were resting upon him. And it is written… GOD By The Word GOD fed the children of Israel. The Son of GOD The Christ Moses

“…the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee. And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which [is] upon thee, and will put [it] upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear [it] not thyself alone” (Numbers 11:16, 17).

Notice that by The Spirit of GOD’S Word, Moses was made to be a god unto the pharaoh of Egypt, and he by Him labored with GOD in helping to minister unto to Israel of Israel, and the great multitude. As he was a helper, he needed help to meet the needs of the people. Notice that GOD has revealed to us an important Truth by taking of The Spirit of HIS Son, Who was one with Moses, and taking of That Same Spirit of HIS Son, GOD also put The Spirit of HIS Son upon the elders, to help Moses with the great multitude of people. For The LORD spoke by HIS Word through Moses, who spoke to the children of Israel and said… GOD And The LORD took of The Spirit of HIS Son upon Moses and put Him also on them. The Son of GOD The Christ Moses called the seventy elders of Israel to stand with him. Moses

“The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the LORD said unto me, They have well [spoken that] which they have spoken” (Deuteronomy 18:15-17).

“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require [it] of him” (Deuteronomy 18: 18,19).

Notice that it was all the heads of the tribes, and the elders of Israel, who said… Because they desired Moses to mediate between them and GOD by HIS Word, Who spoke The Voice of The LORD their God, Moses gave to them HIS Word of Promise to raise up a Prophet unto them like unto him, Who would speak GOD’S Words to them without The Great Fire of The LORD their God. GOD The LORD heard their words, of not wanting to see and hear of HIS Glory by HIS Word. The Son of GOD The Christ Let me not hear again The Voice of The LORD my God, Moses Neither let me see This Great Fire any more, that I die not. And Moses said to them, “…The LORD said unto me, They have well [spoken that] which they have spoken.” End of Part 2
