1 Tower Road Enhancement Project Prepared for Alachua County By Causseaux & Ellington, Inc. Alachua County Roadway Network Improvements

2 Presentation Objective Through design and analysis, the Tower Road Design Team has determined that the “Ultimate Build” scenario is the best option for Tower Road. This presentation explains the design, analysis, and process by which the team determined the best design option. County staff requests comments regarding the design and the “Ultimate Build” option.

3 Design GoalsAnalysis Alachua County Roadway Network Improvements Goals, in accordance with Alachua County Comprehensive Plan: Improve traffic operations and LOS Improve traffic operations and LOS Provide multi-modal facilities Provide multi-modal facilities Provide traffic calming Provide traffic calming Provide enhancements including landscaping Provide enhancements including landscaping

4 Design GoalsAnalysis Sources of Tower Road design parameters: Tower Road Enhancement Project
