fwSystemOverview in unicosHMI Configuring a dedicated UNICOS interface We call it sysHMI Configurations: Getting the system alarms to the alarm row. Opening the system alarm list from a new button ( ). Changing the layout and the places of the UI elements. Configuring the window tree to show all the most important panels.

List all current issues and missing functionalities The following issues have been discussed with Fernando and/or Pawel: IssueStatus While monitoring the memory the values don't seem to be updated. Will be fixed in the next version of fwFMC. You can change the values of the monitoring of the memory can be changed by the user (Usage (%) could be changed without a problem to 60 000). Will be fixed in the next version of fwFMC. Some archiving are missing (CPU, memory …).Will be fixed in the next version of fwFMC. Although process monitoring is running the tool claims that there are no processes running (the process monitoring is on). Will be fixed in the next version of fwFMC. The Last DB update date is “1970.1.1 01:00”.Will be fixed in the next version of fwSystemOverview. When adding a system to fwSystemOverview (to a host) the system number is not checked if it is in a correct format. It should be always an integer. Will be fixed in the next version of fwSystemOverview.

List all current issues and missing functionalities IssueStatus In fwSystemOverview - hierarchy view - selected system -> there is a light than indicates if the system configuration and the system are okay. This light is constantly white instead of being red or green. Will be fixed in the next version fwSystemOverview. FMC - Alerts are never generated about the machine’s CPU, memory or low disk space etc… (only for the PMON). Will be fixed in the future in the FMC. Some sort of summary of the current status of the equipment, projects and systems would be useful. GUI of fwSystemOverview has some elements positioned in a less convenient way. The latest version of FMC rpm is needed. Way to install it ? The fwSystemOverview installation package was incomplete and missing some of the panels. The issue has been fixed. fwSystemOverview - host view -> sorting doesn't work properly if available CPU% I clicked too many times. ETM will be notified about the issue. On the fwSystemOverview - hierarchy view -> when I press one of the systems occasionally the background color of the selected systems vanishes (changes back to white on its own). Will be fixed in the next version fwSystemOverview.

To summarize fwSystemOverview installed and configured SystemIntegrity is working FMC agent installed Access Controlling is working Alert handling is working for PMON  The fwSystemOverview tool is monitoring a BE Linux computer: CPU, memory, networks, file system.  The fwSystemOverview tool is monitoring an UNICOS PVSS project: SystemIntegrity, PMON.

Next steps Monitor the Production UNICOS PVSS projects Configure DB on TN with all the projects information Create a fwSystemOverview project on the TN Configure it to monitor all the UNICOS projects (via DB) Install the FMC agent on all the Linux computers (with BE- CO)
