God promised Abraham and his descendents the “promise Land” Gen. 13:15 God would bless them in obedience and scatter them among the nations if they disobeyed Lev. 26:3-33 They disobeyed and God scattered them Deut. 28:63-66 However, He promised that a remnant would be preserved Jer. 30:11 He promised that He would re-gather them to their homeland Isa. 11:10-12 He promised He would re-establish their nation Isa. 66:7-8

Israel lost — 777 dead The death toll on the Arab side was 15,000 Egyptians, 2,500 Syrians, and 800 Jordanians.
