Your Group’s Mission Now that you have completed your first meeting, spend some time evaluating and reflecting how well the expectations you created actually worked in your community. To help with this process, you are going to get a chance to view your other peers’ community expectations (although some of you did not turn this in yet!). Begin thinking about if/what you would like to change for the smoother functioning of your lit circle community.
Community #1: The Llamas & the Unicorn 2. Rules and consquences: If you fail to complete an assignment you have to have it to finish by the next meeting. If you fail to stay on task more then three times we will consult Mrs. Furness. We will be respectful when other people are talking. We will not start until we do our daily ritual opening/ greeting and will not end until we do our daily ritual closing/ ending 3. Unique: We have a unique opening handshake and a closing handshake as well.
Community #2: MARK 1. TEAM NAME : MARK because M is for Mechelle A is for Audrey R is for Rachel K is for Kia 2. RULES If you are gone email your work to your group. Try your best to use HOTS. If you have a question ask group then teacher. Do your work. You have to participate. 3. IF YOU'RE GONE... You have to get work done. Apaligize to community. You have participate more and answer to everything. 4. SPECIAL ABOUT OUR GROUP We have to say MARK in sign language when come and leave.

That have the letter of our first names in them (: Genna- Girrafe Nelson- N Dog Isiah- IPod Elizabeth- Egg
Community #4: The Awesome People 2: 1. Get the work to your group 3: if you don't get your work done you have to do all the jobs with your team members 4: say we are fantabulous and supercalafragalisticexpialodotius
Community #5: The Cups Community We are the cups community because the cups song by Anna Kendrick from pitch perfect Is our way of starting and ending the meeting Rules 1. If you aren't able to attend the club you are still required to make up the work 2. If questions do not reach a minuet or more of discussion you have to reword it to make it better. Consequences 1. The consequences will be that you have to finish your task before you enter the groups conversation Unique What makes our community unique is we do the cup song before we start and end every meeting
Community #6: Purple Bacon Pandas Name: because Torin loves Bacon, I love purple, and Jade loves Pandas Rules: 1. Do your work 2. Stay with group (on task) 3. Make a pages document when absent and send to another member with your work done Punishments All slackers or people who don't do the work will have to do double the work
Now what? Now that you and your group members have experienced the running of your first meeting, AND had a chance to see how other communities are functioning, it is time to re-assess your “rules.” Discuss and revise the rules that you created. A NEW person will be sharing the Google Doc today, so make sure that you all have the same information!
