Transport 1960: Commodities get transported by ships, trains and trucks. 2010: Now they get transported by ships, trains, trucks and plains. 1960: Many people had one car, but they didn’t use it very much. 2010: Many Danish people have two cars, and use it a lot.
Warming in houses 1960: They used papers, rockwool, mineral wool and seaweed. That was bad isolation material. 2010: All new houses have to be isolated, the most with rockwool. 1960: They used oil-fired burner, stove and district heating. They used it to warm up their houses. 2010: Now we use oil-fired burner, pellet burner and straw burner.
The household 1960: They used electric equiment: food mixer, hand-held mixer, electric cooker, toaster, dish washer and frigde. 2010: It’s pretty must the same things we use, we just use them more now.
Farming 1960: They used tractors, combine harvester, reaper-binder, straw press, forage harvester, milking maschines. 2010: Today we use many of the same things, but they are better and bigger now. At pigfarms and cowfarms, they have vetilating plants and food plats.
The garden 1960: They haven’t got electric equipment, but some had a electric hedge cutter. 2010: We have many electric equipment, and we use them a lot.
