Evaluation objectives The evaluation will build on and complement evaluation work done previously to assess the overall effects of the portfolios and projects and identify what works amongst the approaches they are using What is the evaluation about?
Builds on the evaluation of Wellbeing 1 to answer a range of new and existing evaluation questions and provide more credible evidence on impact Builds on local evaluations and strengthens the evidence base by measuring impact at a national level and across a diverse programme Provides a cost benefit analysis of the programme Shares learning between projects to identify success/areas of improvement to support development of sustainability models Supports grant holders to make the case for sustaining their activities by effectively communicating how well-being outcomes can be achieved to commissioners, wider stakeholders and policy makers Adopts a cross cutting emphasis on communications Why is the evaluation important?
