If it is shorter than your middle finger when you put your hands to the side of your legs then it is WAY TOO SHORT. Masks Laptops/ Ipads Full bottles of toiletries What NOT to Pack
States Rules! Students must adhere to all Florida States Code of Student Conduct. (see attached) Students should and could bring one cooler per room. Please do not bring anything that is microwavable as there might not be microwaves at the hotel or in the rooms. Students may not walk around the hotel room to use hotel features without a chaperone. For instance, students wanting to get a bucket of ice must ask permission from a chaperone before- hand. For competing students, you must wear all black performance and school appropriate attire. Students can bring a book, ipod, earphones and a pillow for the bus ride. Students are responsible for their own personal items. Do not bring expensive sunglasses or earphones etc. that might be left behind somewhere. Students should pack and wear comfortable clothing. Absolutely no see through, short shorts, mid-driffs, short skirts etc. School appropriate clothing, no club wear, no summer spring break wear. Students should be with their chaperone groups at all times. Under any circumstance is a student or a group of students allowed to be by themselves without adult supervision. Groups should go to lunch and dinner at the chaperone’s choice. Votes and suggestions can be placed but the ultimate decision is that of the chaperone. Meals will range from $5.00-$10.00 each lunch and night, please bring enough spending money as the chaperones will not be paying for your lunch or dinner. Students are required to attend as many workshops and watch individual events and one acts as possible. No students are allowed to have a room key or use a room key. Chaperones are the only ones allowed to open your doors. No slamming doors, no loud noise or loud music in your rooms. No rehearsals, only warm ups aloud before performances. Perfect theatre etiquette behavior at all times. Students must stay in their seats until a performance is over, wait to use the restrooms etc. Phones on silent, not vibrate. Friday, March 28 th : Students must pack their stuff in their luggage and carry with them all day their closing ceremonies formal attire and comfy bus clothes for the trip back. Students will not be permitted to ask hotel lobby for their luggage. Luggage will be stored in the hotel lobby at check out on Friday, so everything students need for Friday must be carried with them at all times.
